Creators of “God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust” reached out to The Danbury Institute to preview their forthcoming film. Danbury Chief Communications Officer Sharayah Colter had this to say in recommending the film to Christian audiences:
"For far too long, Christians have been told - and all too often believed - the myth that they should have nothing to do with politics. The result has been Christians staying on the sidelines. Christians being turned inward and avoiding the key issues of the day, however, has created a vacuum of solid leadership in our nation, in our states, and in our local communities. The truth is that political issues are largely matters pertaining to biblical worldview and biblical values - the same worldview and values that forged the very founding of America. 'God's Not Dead: In God We Trust' turns this misguided stay-in-your-lane mentality on its head and reminds Christians that they have a place in the self-governance of their nation. Christians around the nation should watch this film to be reminded of the duty Christians have to be salt and light, to be good stewards of their citizenship, and to be bold ambassadors for truth, whether that be in their homes, their churches, their towns, or yes, even in politics. I am glad to see 'God's Not Dead: In God We Trust' coming to theaters where millions can hear its important and incredibly timely message."
